We, the Sons of AMVETS (American Veterans), fully realizing our responsibility to our parents, community, State and Nation, associate ourselves for the following purposes:

    To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America

    To promote the cause of peace and godwill amongst nations;
    To maintain the freedom of our country;
    To preserve the fundamentals of democracy;
    To perpetuate the friendships and associations of the AMVET

    To dedicate ourselves to the cause of mutual assistance...this by the
    Grace of God.

SOA Commander Report June 2017


Greetings SOA Members,


First of all I want to thank the membership for their faith and trust in me and for electing me as the new Commander. Congratulations to all the newly elected and appointed officers of not only the SOA, but the AMVETS and the LAUX. I look forward to working with you all.


On June 10th, we will be having Regina doing the Belmont Stakes and all proceeds of that will benefit SOA Charities. June 13th is our General Membership meeting starting at 7PM. Please come join us! Last but certainly not least is our Wingfest on June 24th from  1 - ???.


I look forward to seeing you at Post 2000 - The Fun Post!!!

Your Sons of AMVETS National Officers, NEC Delegation and accompanying Sons Members, AMVETS and Ladies Auxiliary will be visiting Capital Hill during March of 2013 and will discuss these matters with your Representatives and Senators.
