    To promote the cause of peace and godwill amongst nations;
    To maintain the freedom of our country;
    To preserve the fundamentals of democracy;
    To perpetuate the friendships and associations of the AMVET

    To dedicate ourselves to the cause of mutual assistance...this by the

Greetings SOA Members,


By the time you read this the holidays will be over. I hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Years!


Wingfest is back this month on January 27th!  Also we will be starting a Lifetime Membership Raffle to be drawn on Valentine’s Day (February 14th). Only 100 tickets will be sold so get them early! Also if you haven’t paid your dues you need to ASAP! Bartenders will be checking cards and if  your expired, your canteen privileges are no good!

Your Sons of AMVETS National Officers, NEC Delegation and accompanying Sons Members, AMVETS and Ladies Auxiliary will be visiting Capital Hill during March of 2013 and will discuss these matters with your Representatives and Senators.
